NEW "IN N OUT" BURGER IN SAN LEANDRO!!!

After a little opposition from local residents that the city of San Leandro was planning a In N Out burger, I believe a couple years ago...that opposition got trashed...
A new In N Out Burger Restaurant #222 at 15575 Hesperian Blvd, in San Leandro open its doors to the public on Tuesday. In N Out Burgers are actually in only four states, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California. Number 222 is actually the total of restaurants that do exist. I was told that they stay with these numbers so is easier to keep track of them area wise...Oakland is store #193 and that was opened on August 2005..
Even though is actually at the crossroad of Hesperian Blvd. and Lewelling Blvd....I'm pretty sure the kind of traffic situation that is going to rise while waiting to get out of the Drive-through line after ordering a fresh burger should be worth it...(that's if you have patience). There were 1200 interviews done at this location to fill up 68 positions. And those positions were filled from lots of young people from Arroyo High School, San Lorenzo High School and a Christian Academy. The youngest person hired is 16 years old and the oldest is 51. So, they have a great team of various ages and experiences. The person in charge of marketing told me that one of the things that they do is that they work around the students school schedule. I'll tell you what....$10.50 an hour starting wage is not bad if you're 16 years old, but, I was told some employees get a little more. You get to pay you cell phone and buy your stuff if you're a teenager. Working in a In n Out is a very fast paced enviroment. You definetly need to be a multitasking individual if you work in this place. There's usually around 15 to 20 employees in a regular shift working to get those fresh burgers and fries out to its customers VERY fast....I'll tell you what..even though in some places there's a Walmart by the freeway and a In N Out close to it.....If you ever thought about this....I asked....This is only a coincidence that it get built like this...
If you like In N Out burger....I suggest a little inside secret....order a 4x4 burger.....
Employees are anxiously waiting for their cue to get into their positions for when the doors open.
This actually here is a videographer from In N Out Headquarters. I guess when they open a new restaurant they do a little filmind for promotional and training videos. At least that's what I was told.
Employees getting a talk from a manager? I'm pretty sure it is a manager.
These guys are actually the first customers to come in produce the first order. They got free shirts and a In N Out Memorial Coin.
